The company is owned by chemical engineer, inventor, philanthropist, entrepreneur, and business leader Ali Ata. After obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Ali Ata worked with Nalco Chemical Company, one of the largest water treatment companies in the world. His tenure at Nalco was long, lasting a total of 25 years, and distinguished.

It was at Nalco that Ali Ata was awarded five U.S. patents for delivery systems he developed. He occupied various positions, eventually acquiring a rich background in diverse fields that included logistics, marketing, and manufacturing. His hard work was recognized in 1989 when his company gave him the Chairman Achievement Award.

Besides his professional achievements, his years of philanthropy is something he is very well known for. He served as vice chairman and board member of ALSAC from 1996 to 2005, and as president of anti-discrimination group ADC from 1998 to 2001. From the year 2016 until today, he has been serving as the president of PSSF, a charitable organization that provides scholarships to needy students.
